truthfully it's been a crappy couple of weeks.

none whatsoever. At least the dermatitis on my back is better so I'm sleeping better despite the stress and anxiety…

yeah, most sandals and "thongs" are honestly pretty terrible biomechanically for feet. Exceptions exist but diabetics in particular need to be really careful! I'm the same- sandals and poor footwear have contributed to similar issues

Just to add to the general comments, with shoes that simulate the shape of the bare foot I guess it depends on what feet are already like - as someone with flat feet who does heaps of walking and standing at work, has a dodgy knee, I'm prone to plantar fasciitis, bunions, hammer toes, calluses, etc. You'd have to have a pretty biomechanically normal foot to begin with.

I wear Redbacks (a kind of work boot) with half length arch support and slight heel rise which works pretty much perfectly for me. Every foot and need is different of course!

it would be fun!

which one?

What's going on with me at the moment?

  • my finances are fucked until I get my tax return back
  • I have no transportation device
  • work is ok, but I'm not sure how the hell I'm going to pay for and get to this overseas conference
  • i'm learning about how to teach which is cool. Lots of counter-intuitive stuff or stuff that I just didn't know. Useful because…
  • I do so many tutorials at the moment. Bloody hell I hate PowerPoint haha
  • cats are well
  • hopefully soon the plumber gets to fix up my toilet cistern and the dripping tap under the kitchen sink
  • i'm feeling alternately creative and stressed
  • I have vibes from a couple of people but I'm neither sure they're real nor a good idea, haha
  • my family is crazy
  • feeling misanthropic

he strikes me as an autocrat

@kdfrawg his behaviour makes me fearful of how I will or could be in romantic relationships or as a parent
