@phoneboy oh yeah i think he's too far gone to listen to anyone much
@phoneboy part of it is to also to send a message to him that the people will not just lay down and blindly accept everything he tries to do in the next 4 years
@phoneboy that's a different issue. anyway, part of it is that people are protesting because they are angry and scared, i think legitimately. which in the history of civil disobedience is a pretty common reason shrug
@phoneboy because the man in the white house is bad for the community and country #obviousanswer
@matigo I'm the same. it's actually taken a big effort to remove the compulsion for myself to feel guilty and/or try to eat more than what makes me full.
For me what helped was:
- Realising that the food industry in general is fucked up and wants you to eat more regardless and that it's their problem, not mine
- Paying attention to how full I was and not pushing past that point regardless
- Ordering less food
If portion sizes are so huge maybe 'kid's size' is actually an adult size

@kdfrawg yeah, I feel like it's not even really capitalism. it's a subset of capitalistic thinking, and basically it's horrible and sociopathic
