I'm the same. it's actually taken a big effort to remove the compulsion for myself to feel guilty and/or try to eat more than what makes me full.

For me what helped was:

  • Realising that the food industry in general is fucked up and wants you to eat more regardless and that it's their problem, not mine
  • Paying attention to how full I was and not pushing past that point regardless
  • Ordering less food

If portion sizes are so huge maybe 'kid's size' is actually an adult size
