@kdfrawg nods. i am surprised somewhat that there isn't that much screening in GP land. we do however do much more screening of dietary markers and vitamin d in hospital than outpatient because almost all our patients are at risk of nutrient deficiency- from extended fasting, catabolic state, organ dysfunction, old age and the like. Plus we get all the anaemic patients and people with osteoporosis or falls I guess!
