@kdfrawg I don't even know why the government should be so intrusive about gender. IMHO it's between a person and their doctor and psychologist.

@skematica nods indeed. Only country I know of that's very pushy about surgery for trans people interestingly is Iran, who also provide it publicly funded. With the rest it's more like they don't like you having surgery and they like you changing your gender officially even less
